Snowman Wishes

A winter snowman card inside a mini purple polaroid frame with snowflakes and pretty wintry paper. All in cool winter colors and a couple of adorable little birdies make a fun, winter card you can use for a birthday or thank you card.

A big congrats to Lou Ann, the newest Featured Stamper (FS883)! She has a wonderful gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept the layout & snowman theme but used different images, dies & colors.

After coloring & die cutting my cute little snowman, I put him inside a mini purple polaroid frame & added a couple of snowflakes. The white layer was first stamped w/ lt blue snowflakes & instead of a separate greeting piece, I put it on this layer. The layer behind is a piece of winter paper I thought was perfect for my card.

New Year’s Fireworks

A clean & simple card for a sparkly New Year! Very easy & very glittery. 4 different glitter card stocks & some red glitter embossing powder plus a few gems are all it takes to make someone’s New Year sparkle & shine.

For the Inspiration Challenge we are visiting Tilly’s & their Pinterest Board. I was inspired by THIS New Year’s picture. I wanted more color so I added 4 different colors of glitter card stock behind my fireworks cut outs & for the scallop frame.

The greeting was stamped w/ red & heat embossed w/ a red glitter powder. A few gems were added for additional sparkle.

Just Bees

For the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge (IC766), we are headed to Allen Designs Studio & after much browsing, I chose THIS for my inspiration.

My card features these cute little bees & sunflowers on a Slimline card. I’m really loving these new dies! After I die cut the white front & all the flowers & bees, I put them together. For the background, I found a leftover piece of mixed media I made, who knows how long ago, using metallic acrylic paints. I liked the colors so I die cut circles bigger than the openings (to show thru the little dots surrounding the circles), then cut them again w/ smaller circles. I used a honeycomb die on the smaller circles, then put them back inside, leaving out a few of the hexagons.
