A big Congrats to Kandie, the newest Featured Stamper (FS534) on Splitcoast! She has a wonderful little gallery & I chose THIS to case. I kept the tree & birds & most of the layout, but I used different images, different colors & made my a thank you/sympathy card.
I masked off the die cut blue/grey panel & stamped the Woodgrain Bg across the top 2/3 w/ the weathered wood ink & added just a little gray in between areas. The greeting was stamped below in the majestic blue ink then I added the die cut tree & birds & a dividing strip w/ a little Candi dot.
Here’s a look at the inside.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

To make my card, I put the white panel into my Misti & lined up where I wanted the greeting. I stamped it 3 or 4 times, (using a piece of scotch tape to cover the last 2 lines), in order to get good coverage. Then I lined up the one straight up & down Daisy & stamped & colored it. After masking it, I stamped the other two. I had to do a little out of the box on the flowers when I die cut it. The large bg paper was die cut & since it was one of those paper pads that had a coordinating strip down the side (usually you tear these off) but I liked it so I kept it. I die cut the yellow strip using part of the Daisy Garden die to put over the seam. A few sequins & a little stickles in the flower centers were added to finish.
I also made this for the Featured Stamper Challenge (FS533) on Splitcoast. I chose THIS card of Kelly’s to case..keeping most of the colors & layout. But I used different images, different papers & turned mine vertical.
Here’s a look at the inside w/ the other two lines of the Sisters greeting. Love this greeting & I think my sis will, too! Below it are the Copics I used for the daisies.
Please be sure to comment on all the DT Blogs..it will be so appreciated & also increase your chances of winning!

Today’s Clean & Simple Challenge (CAS425) is He is Risen…celebrate the Resurrection or raise something up, like using embossing. I did both on my cards.
For this Easter card, I paired this beautiful new Celebrate Easter greeting w/ the Lily Cross & the Stained Glass Oval. I know the rectangle version would have worked better, but the oval is the one I have. I kept the colors neutral & the layout clean & simple to let the images shine. First I put the cross into my Misti & stamped it w/ desert sand. After lightly coloring it w/ Copics, I overstamped it w/ metallic gold ink then heat embossed it w/ gold powder. I did the same to the frame, coloring in just a few areas.
In real life, the gold embossing is really pretty. You can see it a bit in the pic below.
Here’s a look at the inside & below it are the Copics I used.
My second Easter card was really quick..the triple crosses were stamped on a die cut circle w/ the lilac ink, then the scripture quote was stamped on top w/ the grape ink. It was added to purple die cut & the white bg was embossed w/ a sun ray folder.
