A big congrats to Lizzie, the newest Featured Stamper on Splitcoast (FS434)! What a beautiful, intricate gallery she has & I chose THIS to case. I kept the butterflies & flowers but used different images, different dies & different colors.
For my birthday card, I stamped, die cut & colored the 3 butterflies. I also die cut a bunch of poinsettias, asters & leaves out of white card stock, sponged, sprayed and formed them with a stylus then stacked them for the three flowers. I added the vine image on the background w/ the spun sugar ink then attached all my butterflies, flowers & vine. The greeting was stamped & die cut w/ a pennant die and the edges were sponged. Then I added some glitter to the butterflies & flower centers because I love a little sparkle! Here’s a look at the inside.
The finished card is 4.25 x 5.50 and these are the Copics I used.
Congrats again, Lizzie! Thanks so much for stopping by!

For my seafaring card, after stamping & coloring the sailboat, I used the two sizes of ODBD circle dies to cut it and my out of the box technique to keep from cutting off the mast. After edging the sailboat circle w/ a black marker, I cut a white circle to put behind it and a larger circle out of the same dp I used for the largest pennant. The background panels came about because I had less than a full sheet of the two large strips so I added a narrow piece of the starry dp between the two and attached them to a large white panel I die cut using the largest die of the Flourished Star Pattern set. A smaller pennant, some die cut stars & the compass rose were added to finish.
Here’s a look at the inside using some leftover pieces.
The finished card is 4.25 x 5.50 and these are the Copics I used.

My second card takes us to the mountains & forest. For this card, I got out my trusty little brayer and a rainbow ink pad and brayered over a large white panel.
I had the top white panel left after I die cut the white circle to back the sailboat card above, so I die cut it using the same Flourished Star Pattern die & used a slightly larger circle to make it a bit bigger and after determining the opening on the brayered panel, I stamped the mountain scene, did a little masking and stamped parts of it again to fill in. On the top white panel, I used a torn diagonal mask & brayered the same colors across it. I did even it up a tad using sponging. A reverse circle mask was used to sponge in the sun then I stamped the sun/eagle on top and the deer & tree at the bottom. The ground image was also stamped using the dark blue of the rainbow pad. I like how it just adds the hint of solid ground. The greeting was also stamped just under the circle opening.
The finished card is 5.50 x 4.25 and here’s a look at the inside using a leftover frame I had sitting around. I brayered it, stamped the tree, deer and the eagle.

What a great Pinterest board for today’s Inspiration Challenge (IC494)on Splitcoast! I have the Design Seeds site bookmarked, but it’s great to see so many of their pictures all on one page. For my card, I was inspired by the colors & flowers of THIS picture.
I started by stamping the large greeting then die cutting the bottom with a curved border. After masking off the edges & bottom of the black layer, I stamped the polka dot border w/ white pigment ink. The small white bottom is the rest of the curved border section but I trimmed off more of the bottom to open up the space then stamped the dots w/ black ink. The flowers were colored and fussy cut & I added a few sequins here & there.
The finished card is 5.50 x 4.25 & these are the Copics I used.
