A big congrats to Debby, the newest Featured Stamper (FS764)! She has a beautiful gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept the gnome & horizontal layout but used different images & dies & changed it from a Halloween card to an autumn card. I also left off the glitter & bling.

On my card, I used a brand new set of Christmas gnomes & stamped, colored & die cut the cute gnome. Instead of Christmas, I colored him in fall colors & stamped the word FALL on his sign. The pumpkin set is also just released & I die cut the smallest pumpkin out of scrap paper to use as a mask after I stamped it on my bg, then stamped the largest pumpkin behind it. Several of the falling leaves were stamped directly on the bg & a couple more were die cut & popped up a bit. The gnome & his sign were also elevated w/ foam. On the rust bg, I used a wood grain stencil & pumpkin ink. It’s a little more pronounced in real life & adds a tone on tone color to it.

Here are the Copics I used:

For the Inspiration Challenge (IC651) on Splitcoast, Brenda chose a lovely site & I chose THIS for my inspiration.
I started by die cutting the circle out then making a watercolor bg on it & splattering it w/ white paint. I put it back together & put the whole front panel into my Misti & I had to stamp the silhouette trees several times to get them dark enough. Part of a greeting was added & a die cut Wish. I used a white marker to fill in the moon & add the sparkling lines to the “stars”. A little Wink of Stella was added to the moon & stars, as well.

Here’s a look at the inside.

It’s my turn to host today’s Inspirations Challenge (IC631) on Splitcoast!  I was inspired by THIS & THIS so I combined the two.

I have a winter card using this fun, fun, fun Winter Wonder Words bg. When my unmounted stamp arrived, it still had a line across the top (from the edge of the plate) & I left it. I don’t always ink it, but I did this time. I thought it made the perfect division between the upper & lower part. I inked it w/ the stormy sky ink & stamped it multiple times, but only used the line across the top.  The Warm Wishes was stamped in the upper area w/ the majestic blue ink to make it a little more prominent than the lower bg.

I came across a piece of royal blue c/s that I had embossed all over w/ a sparkly powder. I don’t know why I did this or when, but I thought it might look good for a big frosty snowman. After I die cut him, I left the die in place & went over some parts w/ a white marker & the others w/ a cobalt blue Copic. Then I added a die cut piece of thin foam behind him to elevate him a bit. The larger blue mittens were punched & added. A narrow strip of blue glitter paper was added down the left & some punched snowflakes here & there.

Here’s a look a the inside. I went over the greeting & mittens w/ a blue Wink of Stella.
