For my “into the window” card, I stamped the beautiful Hat w/ Flowers close to the corner of 4 x 5.25 piece of white card stock, colored it with Copics then lightly penciled in my frame using the die as the template. I cut into & around the parts of the hat & flowers that would stick into the opening, placed the die under the hat & die cut the opening. I used a slightly larger stitched die to emboss the stitching around the window. The greeting & ferns were stamped on a slightly larger piece of white, colored & I used the BG10 Copic to add the aqua around its edge before attaching it under my slightly elevated window. Another fern was fussy cut & added on top of the window along w/ a valance die cut. I threaded a blue button with Peapod Stripe & Denim Stripe twine & tied them in a bow.
The finished card is 5.50 x 4.25 and these are the Copics I used.

A big congrats to Heidi (stamptek), the newest Featured Stamper (FS390) on Splitcoast! What a beautiful, colorful gallery she has! I chose THIS card to CASE. I just loved the flowers and trimmed edge w/ the embossing on the right, so I kept those. I used different images, different embossing folder and different colors.
For my version, I stamped the outline flowers w/ worn lipstick close to the edge of piece of white card stock then trimmed around them. On an acrylic block, I smushed the lipstick & marigold ink pads, then spritzed the rubber of my solid flower image and pressed it to the inked block then stamped them on another piece of white c/s. I used a stamp positioner to line up the outline ( but slightly off, to keep a bit of the white) and stamped it in black on top. I used the matching die to die cut them and attached them down the side. The left side was die cut and I sponged the two Distress inks, pulling them near the flower edge.
The coral panel on the right was die cut & embossed & attached under the edge of the flowers. I added just a bit more color to the flowers w/ a couple of Copic markers then added the big black gem centers & the greeting in the upper left. The finished card is 4.25 x 5.50.
Congrats again, Heidi! Thanks so much for stopping by!

The Ways to Use It Challenge on Splitcoast today (WT489) is lots of dots. After stamping & coloring the cake, I fussy cut it because I knew the tall candles would end up very close to the top. On the top of the background, I white embossed the polka dot background..I think the white on white adds a nice texture without making it look too busy. I added a die cut fancy border w/ a blue ombre strip behind the top that I just colored w/ Copics. The greeting was stamped in the opening & some sequins added for a little sparkle. The finished card is 5.50 x 4.25 and these are the Copics I used.
