First the prize Information:

  • The Winners will be posted on the ODBD Blog on July 3rd, so be sure to check back there to see if you won!

For my first card, I’m using the fabulous Pennant Swag Alphabet set and matching Pennant Swag dies.

Fucshia Bday Banner 04022Since these are clear stamps, I don’t think it matters if you stamp first, then die cut or do it in reverse. But I die cut the swag first, left the die in place, and stamped the individual pennants in place. I used these colors because I happened to have these crocus and foxglove images already colored. They weren’t used as previously intended, but I think they fit in perfectly here. The narrow fuchsia colored frames were part of a background I made with Copics and I used it as well. The finished card is 5.50 x 4.25 and these are the Copics I used.

Foxglove copics 03798I’m entering this in the Simon Says Monday Challenge…White!

On my second card, I’m using the Patriotic Pennants, Pennant Alphabet, Pennant Row dies & Pennant dies.

Brave Eagle 04009I combined these fabulous pennants with my favorite eagle image, from Some Gave All and the greeting from Home of the Free. I stamped the images in either the sapphire or barn door ink, die cut and arranged them as seen.
