For today’s Clean & Simple Challenge (CAS284), we are casing a CAS DT Alumni, Tenia. I chose THIS card. I love all the greens. I did use different images and made my horizontal. I am also adding this to Sylvia’s DTGD Challenge, DTGD14~Fee~.
On a die cut rectangle, I stamped the little pea pod & greeting, colored them the die cut the triple row of squares. I did have to do it one end at a time to make the cut shorter than the die actually cuts. I used the same green Copics to make a green ombre strip to put behind the cut out. I added a narrow black frame to set it off. Then I attached a stamped green strip across the bottom of my 5.50 x 4.25 card. These are the Copics I used.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Just a quick card for today’s Inspiration Challenge (IC448) on Splitcoast. I was inspired by THIS picture. I love the 3 little apples and they remind me of the 3 apples in this image. To me these look like red delicious so that’s the way I colored them. After coloring, I fussy cut them to add to my kraft panel. For some reason I usually think of a kraft background when I see these apples. See the border? It’s part of a larger image, meant for the back of a card or an envelope. I inked just one of the borders of it and stamped around the edges then used a white gel pen to accent it. The kraft panel and card front were die cut with a stitched border die set.
The finished card is 5.50 x 4.25 and these are the Copics I used.

For my first card, I’m using the fabulous Pennant Swag Alphabet set and matching Pennant Swag dies.
Since these are clear stamps, I don’t think it matters if you stamp first, then die cut or do it in reverse. But I die cut the swag first, left the die in place, and stamped the individual pennants in place. I used these colors because I happened to have these crocus and foxglove images already colored. They weren’t used as previously intended, but I think they fit in perfectly here. The narrow fuchsia colored frames were part of a background I made with Copics and I used it as well. The finished card is 5.50 x 4.25 and these are the Copics I used.
I’m entering this in the Simon Says Monday Challenge…White!
