Julie Warner –
Congrats to Laura, the Featured Stamper on Splitcoast (FS334)! She has a small, but wonderful gallery and after much browsing, I chose her Popsicle Time to case. I kept the layout (but turned it on its side) and most of the colors. I made the center panel a window instead of a layer, used different images and papers.

This is a sneak peek of images from Our Daily Bread designs coming July 1st! Since I have 2 weddings and an anniversary coming up, these new sets and matching dies are perfect! After stamping the bird cage, I added a bit of pink shading before die cutting w/ the coordinating die. I did the same w/ the floral swag image and added it on top of the bird cage as well as the below the sentiment. I die cut the inside out of the designer paper to make a frame and added some faux stitching w/ a white gel pen. On the pale pink vellum insert, I stamped the love birds image w/ white ink and once w/ the black image.

he dp is double sided so I used the reverse side of the piece I cut out and put it behind the vellum before attaching to my 5.50 x 4.25 card. I added just a bit of pink stickles to the centers of the flowers. Two die cut little birds were colored and added on the cage front.

Congrats again, Laura! Enjoy your week! Thanks so much for stopping by.

Julie Warner –
What a fun site for today’s Inspiration Challenge (IC395) on Splitcoast! Since it’s almost the 4th of July, I went with this fun Fireworks Outfit.

The images are all from DRS Designs. And for my July 4th tribute card, I’m using this wonderful Freedom Cannon. After coloring w/ Copics, I die cut it and attached it to a red rectangle. The red rect. was embossed w/ a star border down the left and a stripe folder on the right. On the royal blue background, I inked just the fireworks part of the Freedom Cannon and stamped it tone on tone. The sentiment was inked w/ 2 colors of ink and die cut in a banner shape. A little stickles was added to the fireworks for a little sparkle. The finished card is 5.50 x 4.25.

Here are the Copics I used:

For today’s Inspiration Challenge on Splitcoast (IC393) I chose this Blue Sun head gear item. I like the mottled sky blues and I found a piece of Christmas designer paper that mimics it. I managed to work around the Christmas text in the paper so that I just had the stars/sky area for my backdrop.

The images are from Our Daily Bread designs. The sweet little boy was colored w/ Copics and cut out. The sentiment was stamped on  butter yellow card stock and die cut w/ a Spellbinders labels 20. The white frame was first die cut using a large petite oval then embossed. The finished card is 5.50 x 4.25.

Thanks so much for stopping by! If you haven’t yet, please check out the North Coast Creations June release today! Just by commenting, you could win one of two prizes to be drawn randomly from the comments.
