It’s my pleasure to host the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge (IC765) & we’re headed to a women’s clothing store called Miss Vogues. There are so many wonderful things there & I could probably create a card a day based on the inspiration I found. For this card I was inspired by THIS dress. It was easier to reverse the colors, though.
After stamping my fashionista, I decided I wanted a full skirt like the inspiration pic, so I drew in more skirt then colored it all. When it came time to die cut her, I die cut to her waist, then turned it around & die cut up to the hem of her skirt then fussy cut around the new, wider skirt. The white side panel was die cut w/ a circles bg die, backed w/ bright yellow, then I added a few cobalt circles here & there. Dk blue stickles were added to the blue dots on her dress.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Congrats to Debby, the newest Featured Stamper (FS703) on Splitcoast! She has an incredible gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept the three leaves w/ the gold embossing, but I used different images & dies, different colors & made mine a slimline card.
For my card, I used a piece of alcohol ink bg to stamp & gold emboss my 3 leaves, then die cut them. The card front was die cut & I added a brushed gold layer behind it & a slightly smaller circle die to cut out the centers so the white would show thru. The greeting was gold embossed & I popped the leaves up a bit w/ fun foam.

For the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge, we’re headed to a wallpaper site. I was really drawn to several blue & white pictures & finally settled on THIS picture.
For the bg, instead of the usual coloring in of the leaves, I only filled in the bg areas using a very dk navy Copic. I used a lt grey to add a little something extra in a few spots. The large leaf was fussy cut, popped up & added to a circle stitch frame w/ a piece of vellum behind it.
p.s. Have y’all checked out the new Rubbernecker Stamps release of Slimline dies? They are awesome & selling out fast! Click on any of the pics to take you to that die.
