We have a really fun Inspiration Challenge (IC655) site that Anne chose..Serengeti Fashions. I had several on my list, but THIS is the one that inspired my card. Isn’t it a cute bag?
I just love the scenes on the flip flops so I definitely kept those. I stamped parts of various island & beach scenes, colored them then used 2 sizes of flip flop dies to cut them out. After I made the raspberry colored stripe band, I used leftovers of it to make the sandal straps. The bg of the kraft piece was stamped w/ a splatter image using gathered twig oxide ink to give it a beach sand look.
Here’s a look at the inside & below it are the Copics I used. I like having the insides go with the outsides & the ink is still light enough that writing right over it is not a problem.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

For the Inspiration Challenge (IC655), I was inspired by THIS. I’ve always loved this unique coffee image & it’s been way too long since I used it. So I managed to locate it (since moving, it’s been a challenge to find a lot of stuff!).
For my card, I put the coffee image (Smell the Coffee set CL157) into my Misti and stamped it on some paper I hand marbled. Well, actually it’s a copy of the paper I hand marbled. Since each one is a one of a kind piece I started using color copies so I could hang onto the originals. After stamping, I die cut & used some the leftover paper to make a frame. Some stickles was added for the glitter part.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

This is also for the Featured Stamper challenge (FS594). I chose THIS card of Shannon’s to case. I kept the layout but her sleigh turned into my camper, her Christmas tree became my palm tree & I made a summer card instead of a Christmas card.
I think this looks like a real summer vacation, doesn’t it? I don’t know that I’d park that cute camper so close to the water, but it had to fit on my card, lol. Since the images are rather large, this is all on one layer. I added a narrow burlap printed layer behind it but everything else was stamped, masked, colored & sponged on the one piece of card stock. I used a circle mask for the sun then sponged it, the sky & the water in. Everything else was colored w/ Copics. With the camper colors & beach front, I’m thinking this is in Florida.
Here’s a look at the inside & below it are the Copics I used.
Please be sure to comment on all the blogs..it is much appreciated & also increases your chances of winning!
