My card is almost entirely made w/ dies. The only stamped item is the word “the” & I took it from the Wedded Bliss set. For the Lighthouse, I die cut it twice in white, twice in blue & once in mint green. After a lot of arranging, I stacked them together so that the blue would show on all sides w/ the green in the middle & a little white on the left side. I had a small piece of the wavy designer paper that I cut the top along one of the wavy lines and placed it behind the oval to resemble waves. A few little die cuts were added along w/ the two die cut words (Seas was cut from the Season’s Greetings die).
This is also for the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge & THIS is my inspiration.Â
Here’s a look at the inside. I left it blank until I decide who it’s going to & on what occasion. Maybe a birthday or Father’s Day.
Please be sure to comment on all the blogs..it is much appreciated & also increases your chances of winning!Â

You are sooooo clever Julie! I love that you used “Season’s Greetings” to create the word “Seas” and that you used “Seas” for “Seize”! What a perfect summer card – love the bight white and blue!

Awesome card!! I just love Serendipity Stamps & Dies!!
What a lovely card. Nautical theme seems to be everwhere this year, and coincidentally my wedding reception has a nautical theme, because of my love for the East coast where I lived for 14 years.
A fun layering of die cuts, Julie!
Fantastic use of the sentiment.
Love the rick-rack waves.
