Welcome to November & to the Splitcoaststampers Fan Club November Christmas Challenge! You’ll need to be Fan Club member but that’s easy…just click the blue link to find out how. Bet you’re wondering what the challenge theme is..I’d love to tell you but you’ll have to go see for yourself.
For my card, after stamping, coloring & die cutting the cute image, I sponged just a little tumbled glass in the upper left corner then used a snowflake frame, white ink & some transparent glitter powder to emboss the snowflakes. On the back panel, I used broken china & a little shaded lilac in addition to the tumbled glass to sponge about 2/3 of the bg. Then I put it into my Misti, used white ink on the top, going to a darker blue at the bottom & used the same sparkly powder. The greeting was white embossed & I used the sparkly powder to emboss the die cut blue snowflake.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

The Clean & Simple Challenge (CAS557) is a happy Halloween theme using some purple. I think purple is a perfect color to go on Halloween cards.
For my Halloween card today. I’m using one of my fave images, this Happy Pumpkin, but I always call him Jack. I love his jaunty hat & big grin. After I colored him & die cut him I added a narrow purple layer. The background was embossed w/ 2 different folders. I wish you could see it in person..it is SOOOO sparkly. I went over all the high points w/ a Versamark then heat embossed them w/ a black sparkly powder. I stamped just part of a large greeting & embossed it as well. Then I used a small rounded oval die to cut it.
Here’s the inside & the Copic colors I used.

Congrats to Karen, the newest Featured Stamper on Splitcoast! She has a lovely little gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I liked the wreath on the brick wall, so I kept that. But I used different stamps, dies & colors & used a stencil for my brick instead of an embossing folder.
On my bg, I sponged Brilliance gold & lightning black inks thru the brick wall stencil. While the stencil was still in place, I stamped the splatter bg using the same inks to give the bricks a little texture. IRL, it’s very gold & shimmery! The wreath was stamped, colored & I used my out of the box die cutting technique & a circle die to cut it. Large script greeting fit perfectly inside the wreath & I stamped it in black first, then again in the lightning black so it has a nice shimmer, too. A gold circle layer was added & done!
Here are the Copics I used for the wreath:
