For the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge (IC908), we’re visiting Great Big Canvas & their Pinterest Board. I used THIS picture for my inspiration.

My card is really easy. The heavyweight paper pad has all the images preprinted & all I had to do was die cut the dahlias w/ the matching dies. The pad also has a bunch of printed papers, which I used one for the background. I did cut a couple of extra dahlias out of foam to pop the flowers up a bit. The little love was die cut from another die & I snipped it out of the original shape.

The green panel was a little too “minty” so I sponged on a little of the pale turquoise ink to alter the color slightly. You can see the original color below. I only had to do the edges since the middle wouldn’t show.

A few rhinestones were sprinkled on the flower paper for sparkle.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

A big congrats to Lynn, the newest Featured Stamper (FS846)! She has sweet little gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept the letter & flowers but used different dies & slightly different colors.

My card was made entirely w/ dies. I die cut 2 of the envelope w/ flowers out of heavy white & stacked them together for depth. I replaced the leaf inserts w/ 2 colors of green & used a few red Copics to color the white inserts of the flowers. I attached it inside a white polaroid frame & then to a dk red background.

The Love w/ shadow was popped up a bit as was the polaroid frame.

For the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge (IC895), we’re visiting Mud Pie & their Pinterest Boards where I found THIS lovely picture. I really liked all the hearts in different papers so I based my card on that.

My card is pretty easy..I die cut the white background panel w/ a stitched rectangle then ran it thru w/ the quilted stitch piercing die. All the hearts were die cut out of various watercolor & shaving cream background scraps I had in my stash. I elected not to use the open outlines & used only the solid centers of the hearts. After arranging them, I stamped & die cut the greeting then added a narrow turquoise layer underneath.

The hearts were all popped up just a bit before attaching to the white pierced layer.
