Happy New Year! It’s my pleasure to host the first Inspiration Challenge (IC839) of 2022 over at Splitcoast & I’ve chosen a site called Distinctivs & their Pinterest Board where I was inspired by THIS pic & also THIS one.

For my baby shower card, after stamping, colors & die cutting the baby ellie, I die cut the 4 baby blocks out of pink & again out of white. I replaced the centers w/ the white & stamped the letters using Distress spun sugar. The umbrella was die cut out of a lg paint chip & the top was popped up a bit. I used a pair of rectangle dies to make the wide pink frame & I also popped it up w/ foam. The rest was just arranging it all on top of a gray bg & adding the little pink raindrops.

These are the Copics I used on the ellie:

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Welcome to January 2022!  And it’s time for the Splitcoaststampers Fan Club January Christmas Challenge! You’ll need to be Fan Club member but that’s easy…just click the blue link to find out how. Thank you, Stacy, my friend, for 10 yrs of wonderful challenges! We’re all sad to see you go, & since this will also be my last on this challenge, I wanted to make sure to honor you.

I chose a non-Christmas card to case..Big Blooms 4 by Twinshappy at Splitcoaststampers lovely card of yours. The angle is such a great detail, so I kept it. I did move the greeting to the main panel & left off the embossing. I used the Color Fuse inks to stamp some pinecones, greenery & berries in the lower left corner & a few extra that I die cut w/ the matching dies. I used the long edge of the stitched border die to cut the corner off then added a scallop edge underneath it. The extra images were popped up above the angled cut.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

A big congrats to Rosemary, the newest Featured Stamper (FS777) on Splitcoast! She has a wonderful gallery & after much browsing I chose THIS card to case. I kept the layout w/ the black/white bg & window, but I used different images, made my window square & changed it from Thanksgiving to friendship.

For my friendly little fox card, I stamped the bg & left them uncolored, then die cut a square opening & popped it up before added the greeting under it. The fox, umbrella & flower basket were colored & fussy cut.
