Today’s Sketch Challenge (SC590) on Splitcoast is an easy one w/ lots of possibilities. I thought I’d use this fabulous Dresden Quilt die along w/ the poinsettias dies to get an early start on some Christmas cards.
I die cut the quilt 3 times..one in white, one in pine green & one in a sheet of the Cozy Quilt paper. After piecing them all together, I attached to a white base die cut w/ the Double Stitched Rectangles, then a larger pine green layer.
The poinsettia was die cut using the Peaceful Poinsettias & Merry Mosaics dies & I used a stylus to add a little shape to them before attaching in the center of my quilt. The die cut Merry was added underneath w/ the Christmas attached to a large bow & added below.

Welcome to the North Coast Creations April Release! And wow, do we have some super cute images & matching dies for you! You’re going to LOVE these adorable cuties!
On my first card, I used the Thanks a Bunch set w/ the matching Monkey dies. This little monkey w/ the big grin just makes me smile 🙂 . I stamped, colored, over stamped & die cut 2 of him & also die cut a couple of plain white faces & feet to stack under these areas to give him some dimension. The layers & frames were all die cut w/ ODBD dies (see list in supplies box) & attached to the card front Some bananas were also colored & die cut along w/ the greeting tag.
I knew I wanted a palm tree, so I set about making one w/ die cut & sponged pine cones, stacked on top of each other for the trunk & some lacy fronds for the palm leaves.
Here’s a look at the inside & below it are the Copics I used.

My second card features the adorable Little Birdies set & matching dies. These cuties are so easy to color & you can have them match whatever paper you want to use. The branches and hearts add so much detail to complete the scene.
I colored my birdies blue on top w/ peachy undersides to go w/ the fun Beautiful Boho paper. The rectangles & big circle were die cut using the soon to be released ODBD Pierced Rectangles & Pierced Circles. After I put the scene together, I added some stickles & a few enamel dots to finish.

Today marks the end of my Guest Designer stint for the Splitcoast Color Challenge. It’s been such a blast! The colors Vicki chose for today (CC580) are lovely..garden green, daffodil yellow & island indigo (blue-green). So I thought it would be the perfect time to show you a sneak peek of a new North Coast Creations super cute Fairy set with matching dies! How cool is that? I chose the little girl fairy to use on my card, & I realize the mushrooms are colored a little differently, but it is a color challenge, after all, lol.
After I placed all the images in my Misti & stamped them w/ Memento, I colored them w/ Copics, overstamped w/ Versafine, then used the matching dies to cut them out. For the largest white bg, I stamped the 2 little flowers randomly & colored them. The fairy was also die cut 4 times out of scrap c/s that was glued together & stacked for dimension. Some sequins & a little glitter glue were added to finish.
These are the Copics I used.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
