A big congrats to Cheri, the newest Featured Stamper (FS463)! She has such colorful, vibrant gallery & I chose THIS to case. I kept the snowy winter scene & most of the layout, but I used different images, different colors and used a window instead of the snowflake border. This also uses the Sketch Challenge (SC571).
I used a large image for my card, but I split it in two & put the top part inside the window & the truck below. Everything was colored with Copics & I had to do a little out of the box to keep from cutting off some of the branches & the front of the truck. The greeting circle was stamped, die cut & added on the upper right.
Here’s the inside & the Copics I used.
Congrats again, Cheri! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Welcome to the Our Daily Bread designs November Release! We have some beautiful Christmas images & dies for you this month!
For my first card, I made a Christmas wreath on a pink woodgrain door. The wreath was made by using circle dies to make a ring then I die cut all the foliage from the Lovely Leaves dies, the little pinecones from the Fancy Foliage dies, and the little flowers from the Christmas Candles dies and attached them all to the ring. A white bow was die cut using the Small Bow die, added on top of the wreath & a large pearl brad (I colored it w/ a pink Copic) was attached in the center of the bow.
Here’s a look at the inside.

On my second card, I used white heat embossing on tan (lt kraft) card stock. After embossing the beautiful Flourished Merry Christmas, I die cut it w/ one of the matting basics, used a large corner rounder punch on it then used the white ink around the edges & embossed it, as well.
The Snowflake Border was also white embossed then die cut. I added some white embossed snowflakes to accent the Medium Bow & upper corner. The larger one was die cut & the smaller two were fussy cut. A paper crimper was used on the white horizontal band.

These are the sets & dies I used today:
This is for today’s Inspiration Challenge (IC517) & also for Robin’s HYCCT1520 challenge, Candy Stripers. Since I had promised Robin I would make something for her challenge, I purposely chose a red & white picture for the inspiration challenge. THIS is the picture I was inspired by.
Recently I came across a tutorial on how to create an Origami Bow.I just loved the way it looked so I cut a 5″ square of the striped paper & set out to fold the bow. I’ve done a little origami folding before so it was pretty easy. The bow will work on pretty much any size of paper as long as it is square. I did a couple of test sizes w/ copy paper first & thought the 5″ square was the perfect size for my card. This paper is medium weight, probably about 24#. I wouldn’t use paper that was very much heavier because the folds won’t stay. After I folded it, I did add some thin white strips on the edges of the bow part. The draping folds show white because this paper is striped on one side & white on the other. I also added a small white die cut bow on top. The textured white front was a leftover & had the square already cut out so I backed it w/ more of the stripe paper & liked how it looked like a present so I added a white strip down the center & attached the bow on top.
