For the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge (IC830), we’re going to visit iCanvas, where I found THIS picture for my inspiration.
My scene is mostly die cuts w/ a stenciled inset circle behind the truck. I used a new snowflake stencil (coming soon) & lt blue & lt lavender ink to sponge the circle before attaching it behind my circle cut out in the white panel. The truck, tree & presents were all die cut & most of the truck parts are all elevated to give them dimension. I meant to add some snow on the truck (like the picture), but I forgot.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

For the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge (IC825) we’re headed to Perfectly Posh Boutique & their Pinterest Board where I found THIS picture for my inspiration.
My card started w/ die cutting the pieces for the truck & pumpkins then paper piecing them together. To make it appear that the pumpkins were in the bed of the truck, I attached them to the back side of the lower section of the truck then attached the top of the truck under the pumpkins. On the kraft colored background I used the 2 part plaid stencil & a combo of the two blue Distress inks. The color is much closer to the truck in real life.

A big congrats to Cheri, the newest Featured Stamper (FS463)! She has such colorful, vibrant gallery & I chose THIS to case. I kept the snowy winter scene & most of the layout, but I used different images, different colors and used a window instead of the snowflake border. This also uses the Sketch Challenge (SC571).
I used a large image for my card, but I split it in two & put the top part inside the window & the truck below. Everything was colored with Copics & I had to do a little out of the box to keep from cutting off some of the branches & the front of the truck. The greeting circle was stamped, die cut & added on the upper right.
Here’s the inside & the Copics I used.
Congrats again, Cheri! Thanks so much for stopping by!
