Since it’s the Splitcoaststampers Fan Club September Christmas Challenge & Featured Stamper Challenge, I combined the two for my card. You’ll need to be Fan Club member for the Christmas Challenge, but that’s easy…just click the blue link to find out how.  For the Featured Stamper (FS656), a big congrats to Julie! I chose THIS wonderful card to case. I liked the snowman in the frame so I kept that but I used dies instead of a stamp, a glitter tree line die cut instead of an embossed bg & turned my horizontal.

After die cutting all the snowman parts & putting them together, I stamped a splatter bg w/ white ink onto the aqua bg (kind of hard to see) then added some die cut glitter snowflakes before adding the white frame. The pine tree forest was also cut out of white glitter paper & added across the bottom w/ the greeting above it.  I used some Prismacolor pencils to add some shading to all the snowman parts.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Supplies:

Stamps: Rubbernecker Stamps –Have Yourself, Splatter Bg
Paper:  Staples 110# white, aqua,  DCWV white glitter paper
Ink: Memento tuxedo blackColorbox frost white pigment
Accessories:  Rubbernecker: Snowman, stitched rectangles, Square Combo #1, Pine Tree Forest, Sm. Snowflake dies

For the Inspiration Challenge (IC717) we have a tasty site full of beautiful cakes. I chose THIS cake for my inspiration. I really liked the woodgrain look & fall leaves on this cake.

On the bg, I stamped the wood fence bg onto kraft paper then sponged a couple of brown distress inks onto it & stamped a splatter bg in the same colors. The leaves were die cut out of another sponged bg I made using green, gold & red inks. The greeting was stamped w/ the Versaclair & popped up a little on a larger white circle w/ a kraft circle frame.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

A big congrats to Gracie, the newest Featured Stamper (FS655) on Splitcoast! She has such a sweet little gallery & after much browsing, I chose THIS card as my inspiration. I kept the Halloween theme & most of the layout, but turned mine vertical & used different images & slightly different colors.

I really love this Oct 31 square & I also love having a gradient color behind it. For this card, I measured to make sure I could fit 3 on a panel & they fit! Into the Misti it went. Stamped each one multiple times to get good coverage, then colored w/ Copics.

For the greeting, I die cut the Happy part & used the solid part instead of the actually letters, then stamped the Halloween part of the Halloween Arc below it & added a little punched spider. Pretty easy & didn’t take a ton of time.

Here are the Copics I used & also the inside.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
