Fabulous Cat Family Portrait

For the Inspiration Challenge (IC716) this week, we’re going to Corning Ware. I had no idea they had so many different patterns. As soon as I saw THIS bowl, I knew I had my inspiration.

The line up of cats reminded me of this fun Group of Cats image. After stamping & die cutting them, I added some pen work in red & black to make them look like the cats on the bowl. The gold frame was a leftover & when I put it around them, it looked to me like a portrait on the wall so I arranged the card around it. The cat w/ the bow tie was die cut along w/ a black shadow, slightly offset & added in front.  I had to use my Resizing Technique to make the white panel narrower than the die originally cuts. The greeting was white embossed on a triangular shape I had left from cutting some borders for another project & I liked how it looked like one side of a bow tie. Some narrow strips of striped dp were added down the sides.

These are the Copics I used.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
