A big Congrats to Natalie, the newest Featured Stamper! She has such a beautiful gallery..it was hard to chose, but I kept coming back to THIS. I kept the banners and layout, but used different colors, different stamps and made mine a baby card.
Well..I used a lot of dies & images on this, lol. After stamping the baby, I colored & fussy cut it out. The baby bed is made using the Gilded Gate die and trimmed w/ a stamped, die cut crochet border. The pennants were die cut, the BABY stamped on four of them & backed w/ the scalloped pennants die cut out of the dp.
The large white border was added under the largest layer and the greeting was stamped on a mini tag die & backed with another die cut mini tag stamped w/ a ticket stamp. The bottom left seemed a little empty so I added a die cut, stacked button. The finished card is 4.25 x 5.50 and these are the Copics I used.
Congrats again, Natalie! Thanks so much for stopping by!

A big Congrats to Myrna, the newest Featured Stamper (FS411)!What a wonderful gallery she has! After much browsing, I chose THIS to case. I kept the winter theme w/ the little house, but I used different images, different colors, made my scene cover the whole front, and used a different die cut topper.
After stamping the silhouette couple, trees and cabin, I extended the snow lines a bit with a Micron pen then colored in the cabin, masked off the snow and sponged in the pink & blue for the sky. I colored in the cabin and added some stickles for the sparkle on the snow. After I die cut the blue frame, I added a black die cut curved border for the top and used some left over narrow black strips to “edge” the inside of the blue frame. The finished card is 5.50 x 4.25 and these are the Copics I used.
Congrats again, Myrna! Merry Christmas and thanks so much for stopping by!

Today we are taking another look at the Our Daily Bread designs December release! I’ve combined some elements from the December release along with some from the November release. I love how they work together. I needed a birthday card and I really didn’t want it to look like a Christmas card, so I used the stars from Shine On, matching dies & Flourish Pattern dies from last month with the Mini Tag dies & Mini Tag Sentiments and Patriotic paper from December.
The largest layer of Patriotic paper was die cut w/ the largest die from the Flourished Pattern set. I love how it pierces all around the edge when it cuts. I used the background from the same die on the white and snipped around the outside stars in order to slip the next layer of Patriotic paper underneath them. Two of the white stars were white embossed then die cut. The middle star was stamped in red and a little blue was added then it was also die cut. The mini tags were stamped in red and blue then die cut and all tied up with some baker’s twine.
