For my shamrock card, I used a mega oval die and the Out of the Box Nestie technique to cut out the image. I stamped some extra shamrocks and popped them up on top of the originals. Another mega oval was cut out of the sky blue c/s and I attached it behind and down from the image oval. Some little Swarovski crystals were added in the shamrock centers.
I used a Quickutz scallop border to die cut the striped dp and added it down the left side. The sentiment from the image was stamped separately, punched w/ a leaf punch and attached to a die cut round tag. The tag is attached to the scallop strip w/ some twine.
And these are the Tombow markers I used to color the image and a look at my workbook.

What a wonderful site for today’s Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoast (IC325)!I had such a hard time picking just one so I may be back later. For this one, I was really inspired by the colors and pattern in the pottery at the bottom of This Page.
This is pretty much all dp; three sheets from the Scarlet’s Letter pad. The images are all from Our Daily Bread designs. The chickadee and greeting were stamped on vellum and I used a white pencil on the back side. They still didn’t stand out as much as I wanted so I backed them w/ a piece of white paper. This time no fussy cutting…I picked up the matching die for the chickadee recently and I love it.
The hymn was stamped w/ the Memento ink and I added two lines of the punched bird border on top and bottom. The 3 little dew drop like thingies were done w/ a product called Glass Effects. The finished card is 4.25 x 5.50.

Fabulous photos on today’s IC site! For this one, I love this picture of Butter Curls. The pale colors, the swirls on the butter and the dots on the china look so yummy. So this is my interpretation of that wonderful photo.
I’m featuring a lovely new Easter Blessings greeting. I paired it with the Lily Corner and used a pale yellow and white color combo. I stamped the lily corner as a background on the white layer and cut out a few more stamped lilies to add in the lower left corner and one under the sentiment.
The sentiment was die cut and I sponged a little of the banana cream ink around the edges while the die was still in place. The cut out lilies were attached to my embossed yellow panel and I added a little bow on top.
