What a wonderful site for today’s Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoast (IC325)!I had such a hard time picking just one so I may be back later. For this one, I was really inspired by the colors and pattern in the pottery at the bottom of This Page.
This is pretty much all dp; three sheets from the Scarlet’s Letter pad. The images are all from Our Daily Bread designs. The chickadee and greeting were stamped on vellum and I used a white pencil on the back side. They still didn’t stand out as much as I wanted so I backed them w/ a piece of white paper. This time no fussy cutting…I picked up the matching die for the chickadee recently and I love it.
The hymn was stamped w/ the Memento ink and I added two lines of the punched bird border on top and bottom. The 3 little dew drop like thingies were done w/ a product called Glass Effects. The finished card is 4.25 x 5.50.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Just gorgeous Julie. I love that chickadee image too! Looks great on the vellum.
What a nice source of inspiration. The pottery was beautiful (I have a collection of pink/green pottery dishes). Your card is very eye catching. Beautifully done.
