Merry Christmas! For the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge (IC786), we have a Pinterest Board of fabulous doors & I was inspired by THIS door. There are actually a bunch that had stained glass that I loved, so I kind of combined them w/ the green of my chosen door.

For my card, I colored the veined leaf bg (it reminds me of stained glass) & die cut the layers. I thought it needed a little something so I colored & fussy cut the flowers. The center green & black panel is popped up a bit w/ fun foam.

Here are the Copics. I had colored the background a while back so the Copics used are shown for both the bg & the flowers.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy Holidays!

It’s my pleasure to host the Splitcoast Featured Stamper challenge this week, so a big congrats to France, the newest Featured Stamper (FS724)! I chose THIS card to case. I loved the mirror reflection so I kept that, but I used different images & dies & made mine a Christmas card.

For my card, I stamped, colored & die cut the cute snowman, then stamped him again, using masking tape to cover up the areas inside of his outline. I wanted it to look like I was viewing him from the back as he gazes in the mirror. The mirror was die cut out of mirror silver card & put into a white frame then surrounded by a red glitter scallop frame.

The split background is made of a leftover piece of red glitter embossed diagonal stripe & on the top half, I stamped red snowflakes.

Here are the Copics I used:

As a knitter, I love the Studio Knit Pinterest Board Stacy chose. I’m pretty sure I’ll be going back there to check out the patterns in closer detail. For my card, I was inspired by THIS. I loved the color & texture.

I started by inking the knitted embossing folder w/ a dark blue & med. turquoise inks then embossed it onto white. The paper was lightly spritzed w/ water to help the inking & embossing process. Love how that turned out! Then I die cut the snowman & accessories & instead of adding the die cut scarf, I knitted a little scarf w/ some small needles. Since it was so small, I didn’t try to do anything fancy…just a garter stitch border & stockinette body. I made a frame & stamped the snowflakes w/ a lt blue then put it all together. I did used a C2 & BG000 to add a little shading to the snowman.
