A big congrats to Martina, the newest Featured Stamper (FS742) on Splitcoast! She has a beautiful gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept the flowers in the squares & slimline layout, but I used different images, dies, & different colors.

On my slimline card, I had the flower on the left already colored so I did 2 more to go with it. A dark maroon layer was cut to go behind it & I used a small square die to cut out where the windows were & leave a narrow border to frame my dahlia squares. The greeting  was added & I popped up the top white layer just a bit from the flowers.

Here are the Copics I used:

Thanks so much for stopping by!

For the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge (IC803), we’re headed to Shop Sweet Lulu. They had quite a few things that caught my eye, but I kept coming back to THIS card. The hot pink hair & star shaped sunglasses really captured my attention.

For my card, I stamped, colored & die cut the Nala image, I die cut some stars for her sunglasses using gold & white glitter card. I had to practice that hot pink hair a couple of times on scrap to get the look I wanted. I popped up just a bit on a rounded corner rectangle & added a turquoise mat. It took me a while to figure out what to do about a bg to tie all the colors together. Then I found a piece I made a while back by spraying the inside of an embossing folder then running it thru the machine. It had the colors & kind of retro rock feel to it. After I put it all together, I added some stickles to the raised white lines on the bg. The greeting is part stamped, part die cut.

It’s my pleasure to host the Splitcoast Featured Stamper Challenge (FS741) this week! So a big congrats to Heather, the newest FS. She has a beautiful gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept the layout & green (because I LOVE greens), but used different images & dies & made my card a floral instead of a St. Patrick’s Day card.

For my card, after stamping, coloring & die cutting the poppies, I did the stems & leaves & fussy cut them to add them to my white circle. The smaller bg was sponged w/ the lime greens & a little teal on the ends. The larger bg is one I made a while back w/ a die cut & some Brushos, but I wasn’t crazy how it looked alone. But it worked great behind my sponged layer.
Here’s how it looked by itself. See? Nothing to write home about. I took some die cut leaves to use as a mask, then sprinkled the Brushos & spritzed w/ water.

I put the sponged panel into my Misti & stamped w/ the Versaclair then put all my layers together & added a few gems.

Here are the Copics I used for the poppies:
