Starry Halloween cu 04887
A big congrats to Annette, the newest Featured Stamper (FS403) on Splitcoast! She has such a fun, fab gallery and I chose THIS card to case. I really liked the starry background w/ the greeting stamped all around it & the cute little images at the bottom so I kept those. I used different images, different colors and made mine a Halloween card since I needed one more.

On a black square, I white embossed the starry bg image then die cut a white frame to go on top. The two greetings were stamped around the frame and the little Count Porkula & two jack o’ lanterns were colored & fussy cut. I also added a cut out moon w/ bat and a punched bat fence on top of the starry bg. The finished card is 4.25 x 5.50 and these are the Copics I used.

NCC Tommy Turkey 04862 On my first card, I’m using the adorable Tommy Turkey. This little guy just makes me smile 🙂 I know turkeys aren’t usually this colorful but I wanted him all decked out in his Thanksgiving finery. We have a flock of wild turkeys that come through our back yard pretty regularly and I can assure you they are nowhere near as cute & colorful as this little guy. After coloring, I did a little out of the box on the tips of his feathers and sponged a little color around the inside while he was still in the die. I added a rusty brown frame and a few layers behind him. The stamped, die cut leaves and greeting are from Our Daily Bread designs. The finished card is 5.50 x 4.25 and these are the Copics I used.

After adding a white die cut frame on top, I white embossed some snowflakes on a piece of blue paper from the ODBD Christian Faith paper collection then attached it underneath my image. The greeting was stamped on a small oval and a stamped, die cut blue snowflake was attached on top. The finished card is 5.50 x 4.25 and these are the Copics I used.

Season in Time 04822
Today we are taking another look at the Our Daily Bread designs October Release! Don’t you love all the wonderful new images and fabulous dies? So many terrific uses for these! For my card, I used the wonderful God’s Timing set along with the Matting Circles dies and beautiful Blooming Garden collection paper. The clock image was stamped directly onto the paper and die cut with the coordinating Matting Circles dies. Since the greeting was stamped onto textured card stock, I black embossed it to make sure it would show up. Some buttons were also die cut out of the yellow & garden paper along w/ a few of the “sun rays” from the die set. I had a strip of the garden paper left after trimming it, so I used a larger circle die to cut a semi circle around the clock and added it on top of the yellow.
