Welcome to the October Challenge for Serendipity Stamps! This month the challenge is appropriately…Fall/Autumn! You can get all the details over on the Serendipity Challenge Blog. The DT has the added challenge of making a Halloween card. And as always, we have a  have a gift certificate up for grabs to a random player. The sale this week is Buy 3, Get the 4th Free …  good through Oct 22nd.
For my fun little Halloween card, I used the really cute Pumpkins on a Fence image and colored it with Copics. I used a cloud stencil I made with acetate & scallop scissors and sponged on light clouds using antique linen ink. After die cutting, I added a frame from designer paper that just happened to be the exact right fit. There’s actually a faint pattern in it but it’s a bit hard to see. I framed it with some orange paper from the same collection and since I really liked the swirl pattern, I cut around part of it at the bottom and slid the image panel under it. Originally, I was going to add a bigger greeting in the upper left, but it just didn’t work, so I die cut the big pumpkin out of printed halloween paper and backed it with a black print. A few sequins, a Candi dot to anchor the little greeting and a big glass beaded button in the upper left finished it.Â
The finished card is 5.50 x 4.25 and these are the Copics I used.
On the inside, I Â used a piece I cut out behind the black frame on the front and stamped the greeting I started to use on the front.Â
Thanks so much for stopping by! Please be sure to visit all of the DT for some fabulous inspiration for your Halloween cards!Â

Julie you made another gorgeous and creative card! I love all the layers and the amazing background . Another stamp I now want after you used it. I love the inside too, I don’t think I have ever seen that sentiment.
Hi Julie! Gorgeous coloring and I love the fun layout. I like the pumpkin extending off the page, and the flourish that goes across the image!
Love those 3 pumpkins on the fence and how you added the pumpkin die cut!
Just as gorgeous as can be! I love the cut out flourish design and your colored pumpkins look amazing! 🙂 Enjoy your weekend! HUGS
