Such a lovely site Brenda chose for this week’s Inspiration Challenge (IC664). I was inspired by the lovely fall display of THIS picture. I also used the colors for this week’s Color Challenge (CC701).

And since the temps have been in the mid 50’s the last couple of mornings, I am hopeful it’s a preview of fall. I had a few more Shaving Cream backgrounds I made so I used one for the strip on the left & also for the leaves. After stamping the Open Leaf & Fall Leaf w Acorn  I fussy cut them, added them to a white oval along w/ some punched & die cut greenery. I added a little sparkle w/ some stickles & a sheer bow. I only used part of the greeting on the front, but put all of it on the inside.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

Supplies:

Stamps: DRS Designs – Open LeafFall Leaf w Acorn Goodbye Summer
Paper: Staples 110# white, olive green
Ink:Versafine clair nocturne
Accessories:  Misti, ODBD pierced rectangles, pierced ovals, ovals & leafy edged borders dies, Distress reinkers, shaving cream, sheer ribbon, stickles, Cheery Lynn small leaf flourish die, branch punch

I made this for 2 Splitcoast Challenges today…the Technique (TLC675) acetate inking, and the Clean & Simple (CAS466) to have/use something clear.

For the TLC, I used DOX (Distress oxide ink) on a piece of acetate to make the piece I used behind the window.  For the CAS (something clear) I used a portion of a window die (clear window) & put my Santa puppy on the ledge looking out. The white front was stamped w/ the snowflakes & embossed w/ the bricked folder & I added the greeting (half die cut, half stamped) & a few punched snowflakes.

Here’s a look at the inside & below it are the Copics I used.

Today for the Clean & Simple Challenge (CAS424) on Splitcoast,  we’re going on an egg hunt! I was pretty good at hunting Easter eggs when I was a kid. In fact, my dad used to make me put some back for my sister & brother. Waaaaaahhhhhh… not fair! Then there was the prize Falstaff egg. No different than any other..just had the word “Falstaff” on it. And I have no idea why, other than it was a beer my dad sometimes drank. So I’d put some back, but if I had the Falstaff egg, I was keeping that puppy!

My CAS card has a big ol’ bunny face, a big ol’ rainbow egg (not the Falstaff, obviously) & and Easter egg hunt sign, in case you didn’t know the way. Colored & fussy cut the pieces, added some grass & clouds and a-bee-a-bee-a-bee-a that’s all folks!

Here’s a look at the inside & below it are Copics I used.
