It’s my turn to host the Splicoast Featured Stamper Challenge (FS597). A big congrats to Selma, the newest Featured Stamper! She has a fabulous gallery full of beautiful creations & after much browsing, I chose THIS to case. I kept the layout & field of daisies, but made mine smaller, left off the outer punched layer & used a different greeting.
I happened to have (& hadn’t used before) the same mini daisy dies so I die cut all the petals & leaves & added just a touch of color. I die cut some grass & used punches for the butterflies, bird & fence, Polka dot Candi dots were added to the flower centers.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Supplies:

Stamps: Hero Arts (greeting)
Paper: Staples 110# white, teal, turquoise, green
Ink: Memento tuxedo black
Accessories: Spellbinders A2 matting basics A & B dies, Sizzix mini daisy dies, Cheery Lynn grass die, picket fence, butterflies & birds punches, Candi dots

A big congrats to Amy, the newest Featured Stamper (FS497) on Splitcoast! She has a fun little gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I liked the cute martini instead of cake, so I kept that & the layout, but I used different images, different papers & made mine a Halloween card instead of a birthday card. Forget the Candy 09694
To make my Halloween martini, I stamped the martini image & colored it w/ Copics. I had to put 3 different greetings together to make my greeting. I added the little bat onto the olive pick & a spider web & spider in the left corner. Forget the Candy xcu09700
I used some leftover bits & strips of paper for the bottom section & did the little semi circle cut out like Amy did. A little Wink of Stella was added to the spider & Candy word…since the word strip of paper is glitter coated, I thought hint more of sparkle would fit right in.

Here’s a look at the inside & below are the Copics I used. Forget the Candy inside 09699

I always get a big kick out these Art Impressions people & I just had to have the Beach Babes set & this greeting cracks me up every time I see it. My boss babe was put into my Misti, stamped w/ Memento, colored w/ Copics & over stamped w/ Versafine. I did the same to the umbrella & I shaped it a bit before attaching it on top.
The Boss xcu IMG0407
I used some curved matting basics for the large white layer & a curved square die to cut out the center. For the boss babe inset, I used a square die then rounded the corners to match the cut out. Since there isn’t a next smaller size of curved square, I did it this way so there wouldn’t be a huge gap between the two. A little stickles was added to her ring & the ice in the glass & Wink of Stella added to her sunglasses & bracelet.

Here are the Copics I used.
