I made this for 2 Splitcoast Challenges today…the Technique (TLC675) acetate inking, and the Clean & Simple (CAS466) to have/use something clear.

For the TLC, I used DOX (Distress oxide ink) on a piece of acetate to make the piece I used behind the window.  For the CAS (something clear) I used a portion of a window die (clear window) & put my Santa puppy on the ledge looking out. The white front was stamped w/ the snowflakes & embossed w/ the bricked folder & I added the greeting (half die cut, half stamped) & a few punched snowflakes.

Here’s a look at the inside & below it are the Copics I used.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Today’s Color Challenge (CC671) on Splitcoast is silver, red & white & dessert option is to make a Valentine. When I saw the color combo last night, I started thinking about big hearts & sequins & somewhere along the line it turned into “what if I fill the heart w/ sequins?” & that’s where I went with my card.
After I die cut the hearts, I started gluing down the sequins. I started w/ big red ones then added small red ones (& 1 silver) on top. Silver sequins were used on the small heart & I outlined both w/ a silver sharpie. The white linen bg was sponged w/ a couple of red Distress inks from the top down then to soften the blend, I sponged white Brilliance from the lower edge of the red upwards. That left a bit of a sheen that you see in the closeup. It was die cut twice & a metallic silver layer added in between. The little hearts below the greeting were filled w/ red stickles.

And here’s a sneak peek at some new images coming out very soon. I made this for the sketch (SC681) & ways to use it (WT672) challenges at Splitcoast.

Today’s Clean & Simple (CAS465) Challenge on Splitcoast is all about travel. While I made a retirement/travel card, I think this  Follow Your Dreams Sign Post would also be wonderful for graduation.

After I stamped & colored it onto a die cut panel, I stamped the little sign parts again & cut them out to pop up on top. The other layers were leftovers already in my stash & the colors went, so there you go! On the top kraft panel, I stamped the World Map a few times in rust colored ink then added little white strips to make it stand out from the larger kraft panel. On that one, I stamped the little 4 in 1 Arrows in the same ink. I die cut some little arrows & added them down the left side.

Here’s a look at the inside & below it are the Copics I used.
