A big congrats to Pat, the newest Featured Stamper (FS464) on Splitcoast! She has such a beautiful gallery & I chose THIS to case. I kept the technique of the brayered embossing folder & layout, but I used different colors, a different embossing folder & different flower dies.

To make my card, I brayered the inside of the embossing folder w/ the fresh greens ink pad then embossed the large white panel. Then I die cut it w/ the largest Flourished Star Pattern die to get the tiny pierced edges. The Asters, Posies & Leaves were all die cut out of white & I sponged a little yellow & orange ink (from the melon melody ink pad) in the centers. The butterflies were stamped w/ the same yellow/orange ink & die cut.

The greeting was stamped & die cut w/ a Mini Tag then all the flowers were assembled & attached. I added a bunch of die cut circles (from the Asters dies) to the centers of the embossed rings for a little extra punch.

Here’s a look at the inside.

Today instead of making a tag, I put a tag on my ornament on my Christmas card. I really love this big, ornate ornament die so I cut it & the bow out of a metallic gold card stock, then backed the ornament w/ a white circle die cut.  The little tag was die cut then I gold embossed the small Christmas on it & edged it w/ a gold Krylon pen.

The paper on the left was die cut using one of the smaller matting basics then I used a pierced rectangle on it. The rectangles were not the same size so I had to move it around & do 2 sides at a time to get the piercing on it. I added a couple of strips of metallic gold on either side & then strip of another pattern of the same paper on the right of them. The large white bg was die cut w/ the largest pierced rectangle & I gold embossed the Merry Merry down the side.

Here’s the inside using some left over pieces. The Merry Merry was stamped repeatedly on the white piece using Brilliance gold.

My second card is also CAS (clean & simple) & is for the CAS356 Challenge to use a snowman. I stamped my snowman, masking just the very bottom, then added the “melty” part w/ a Micron pen. The tree line was stamped behind him & I added a little color w/ Copics & some sparkle w/ stickles.
