I made this for the Splitcoast Color Challenge (CC611)..red, green & vanilla. Perfect color combo for a Christmas card.
Truth be told, this is the first thing I’ve made in over a week. I’ve been seriously under the weather. Fever is gone, but so is my voice! And my throat & chest feel like they’re on fire w/ the cough that’s still hanging in there. I’m pretty sure this was helped along by all the smoke we’ve had from the fires north of us.
The pinecone was colored & fussy cut. I found a scrap of ivory linen so I stamped the pine branches & greeting on it then added the pinecone. The kraft bg was die cut then embossed w/ a corner flourish. I rubbed over the top w/ a white pencil then added sequins & some stickles for the sparkle.
Here’s a look at the inside & below it are the Copics I used on the pine cone.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
I’m also adding this to Addicted to Stamps & More Challenge, Make Your Mark

Welcome to the North Coast Creations November Release! We have some really cute new Christmas images & a matching Reindeer die this month! You are really going to love these for your Christmas card making.
On my Santa Star card, I decided to make it into a shaker card. I really love shakers & I think they add a little something extra & kids love them. The shaker on this was made using a cellophane pouch I made out of a little envelope that embellishments come in. There’s not a lot of depth or bulk to it so it’s definitely mailable.
After die cutting the white top panel w/ the Double Stitched Rectangles, I positioned the largest Double Stitched Star die at an angle toward the top. The largest Sparkling Star die was used to cut the red frame behind it & I used the smallest star dies to die cut all the sparkly stars I put inside the shaker. After sealing it, I attached it behind the star opening & added a thin foam sheet under it give it a bit of room. I added a green paper star behind it before I attached it all to the striped paper. Santa was colored w/ Copics & fussy cut. The greeting was stamped on another star & the glittery presents added beside Santa.
Here’s a look at the inside & below it are the Copics I used.

For my Rudolph card, after stamping & coloring him, he was die cut w/ the matching die. I found some paper in my stash that had a row of little red nosed reindeer on it so I cut just that strip & found some other papers that coordinated w/ it. The greeting was stamped on a Stitched Oval & backed w/ a plain Oval & I thought it needed a little something extra so I die cut the stars using the Splendorous Stars & Shining Star dies.

Welcome to the North Coast Creations October Blog Hop! We have some super cute new images & some terrific dies to go this month! You are really going to love these!

For my first card, I colored Peaches the Parrot to look like a green wing macaw because in my opinion, green wings are one of the most colorful of the macaws. After stamping, I used Copics to color him then over stamped to sharpen up the details again. A Pierced Oval die was used to cut him out & I had to do a little out of the box to keep from cutting off his tail. I used larger Ovals & Pierced Ovals to make a 2 layered frame around him. Portions of a Flourished Vine were added, cut out of the same green as the frame. The Happy Birthday was die cut once out of black & once out of white & stacked, a little offset. Here’s a look at the inside..the images & greeting are from the Little Birdies set. Below it are the Copics I used.

So how cute are these little Dinosaurs? Totally adorbs, I’d say! To me, the little guy in the middle looked like a baby w/ those big ol’ eyes of his, so I thought why not add a cracked Egg & complete the picture? The other two are either the proud parents or siblings. I used a die cut tree branch from the Who Loves You set & some fussy cut firs from the Happy Camper set to add a little scenery behind them. The blue clouds are from the Something Marvelous set.
The top white layer was die cut using the Double Stitched Rectangles & it was matted onto a piece of orange polka dot paper.
Here’s a look at the inside & below it are the Copics I used.
Surprise! No orange Copics on baby. I just used a base of the Y18 & colored/shaded w/ the R21, R22 & R05 on top.

My last card, features the brand new Bunny die to go w/ the super cute Hippity Hoppity set. The challenge for me with this one was to try & make a card using a bunny & not have it be an Easter card. So I stamped, colored & die cut 2 bunnies then made a bow tie for the boy (the bow from the Peaceful Poinsettias dies was the perfect size!) & a hair bow for the girl (from the Circle Ornaments dies).
I die cut the layers of white, blue & blue polka dot papers using Rectangle & Pierced Rectangle dies, then used a Circle die to cut out the opening on the side for the little girl bunny to peek around. The greeting circles were cut & I added some Mini Double Stitched Hearts below the greeting. It just looked a little blank in the right corner, so I added a white Gilded Gate across the bottom.
Here’s the inside, using some leftovers…originally, the greeting circles were bigger & I cut them down a size & these are the leftover rings. Below this are the Copics I used.
