If you love illustrations for Children’s Books, you’re going to love the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge (IC759) this week! I was inspired by THIS fun illustration.

After coloring & die cutting the Dino & trees, I created a “wagon” using a truck die. Rubbernecker makes a wagon die & I truly thought I had it, but didn’t when I made this card. ¬†I have since rectified that little problem ūüėÄ ¬†. A dark green Prismacolor pencil was used to make the slats on the side of the wagon. For the background I used a stitched hills die to cut the ground out of brown & made a mask w/ it to sponge in the green hills. A cloud stencil was used for the sky.

The greeting was stamped on a little banner die cut. Here are the Copics I used:

A big congrats to Sharon, the newest Featured Stamper (FS633) on Splitcoast! Sharon has an absolutely wonderful gallery & she’s such a sweet lady. I chose THIS card to case. I kept the cute dinosaur theme but used different images & dies, turned mine horizontal & made it a birthday card

For my old dino birthday card, after coloring & die cutting all the images, I used a deckled rectangle die & deckled hills dies to cut the white front & little hills. The edges were sponged w/ Distress inks & the greeting added to a stitched cloud.

Here’s the inside & below it are the Copics I used.

A big congrats to Sylvia, the newest Featured Stamper on Splitcoast! She has a lovely gallery & I chose THIS to case.I kept the cute dinosaur theme but changed almost everything else..different images, different colors & different layout.

After stamping, coloring the cute little dinosaur, I made a little forest scene on the white panel by stamping the 2 trees & masking as I went. The front most tree was stamped separately & fussy cut. I drew a box around the trees & colored in the sky & added some punched clouds.

Here’s a look at the inside & below it are the Copics I used.¬†
