A big congrats to Christine, the newest Featured Stamper (FS551) on Splitcoast! She has such a lovely gallery & she loves to play the Dare to Get Dirty Challenges! After much browsing, I chose THIS to case. I kept the Christmas theme & most of the colors, but I used different images, put my image in a window & turned mine horizontal.

After stamping & coloring the Rooftops, I added a little white gel pen for snow then die cut it to fit into a long rectangle window. The snow bg was stamped in silver on all of the layers & heat embossed w/ some transparent glitter ep. I made sure to leave an area to add the new greeting then stamped, colored &  fussy cut the Christmas lamp post to add on top.

I’m also adding this Stacy’s August Fan Club Christmas challenge.

Here’s a look at the inside & below it are the Copics I used.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

For today’s Inspiration Challenge (IC612) on Splitcoast, I was inspired by THIS picture. I wish I had an image of Snoopy but I don’t. But it reminded me of this tree & the pile of leaves images I have so I used them.

To make my fall card, I sponged  distress inks onto white c/s then stamped the tree & added some white highlights. The moon part was stamped on a separate piece of white & fussy cut. I added a thin white & a wider black layer then attached a white frame on top. The greeting was stamped across the bottom ( I forgot it was retired, but I still like it:) The pile of leaves was fussy cut & I added a couple of little punched pumpkins.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

 x10!
Today’s Ways to Use It Challenge (WT649) on Splitcoast is Domestic Inspiration…be inspired by something in your home. Whaaaaaaaat? I’m in the process of moving. What isn’t already boxed is waiting to be boxed. My home resembles nothing so much as a fire sale. But I still have some pictures so I was inspired by this (you can see the picture in the lower right in front of the card below).

In fact, we were the “parents” of Odie (the bird) for almost 27 years until his passing a few years ago. DRS Designs named the parrot image Odie Pretty Bird after him. Pretty Bird was his favorite thing to say..especially if he was misbehaving. And he would from time to time, look you in the eye & lie to you, lol. “Odie, did you do this?” He’d shake his head & repeat “no, no, no”. We called it his SOB defense, as in Some Other Bird did it. I miss that little character every day!

Anyway, after stamping &  coloring Pretty Bird Odie  &  the Palm Tree &  flowers, I fussy cut them all.  On the square inside the popped up frame, I stamped a portion of the Flamingo scene &  colored it. Then everything was arranged on top w/ just enough room for the greeting.

Here’s the inside & the Copic I used.
