x10!
Today’s Ways to Use It Challenge (WT649) on Splitcoast is Domestic Inspiration…be inspired by something in your home. Whaaaaaaaat? I’m in the process of moving. What isn’t already boxed is waiting to be boxed. My home resembles nothing so much as a fire sale. But I still have some pictures so I was inspired by this (you can see the picture in the lower right in front of the card below).Â
In fact, we were the “parents” of Odie (the bird) for almost 27 years until his passing a few years ago. DRS Designs named the parrot image Odie Pretty Bird after him. Pretty Bird was his favorite thing to say..especially if he was misbehaving. And he would from time to time, look you in the eye & lie to you, lol. “Odie, did you do this?” He’d shake his head & repeat “no, no, no”. We called it his SOB defense, as in Some Other Bird did it. I miss that little character every day!
Anyway, after stamping &  coloring Pretty Bird Odie  &  the Palm Tree &  flowers, I fussy cut them all.  On the square inside the popped up frame, I stamped a portion of the Flamingo scene &  colored it. Then everything was arranged on top w/ just enough room for the greeting.Â
Here’s the inside & the Copic I used.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
