A big congrats to Mer, the newest Featured Stamper on Splitcoast! She has a lovely gallery and I chose THIS card to case. I kept the cute fox but used different images & dies, different colors & made mine an A2.

After stamping, coloring & die cutting the cute fox, I hunted for something to imitate the curving trees w/ opening in the center. I came up w/ the idea to use this mosaic cover die, then use an oval to cut out the center. To cover this cut, I die cut a blue oval ring using 2 sizes of oval dies. I popped it up just a bit on top of the mosaic. The little fox & greeting were added on a smaller, stitched oval which popped up a bit more.

I hope everyone had a very good Thanksgiving! For the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge (IC866) we are visiting Colorful Images & their Pinterest Board where I was inspired by THIS picture.

My slimline card was created using die cuts, some new paper & a greeting from an outdoor stamp set. The cute little camper & van were die cut out of several different colors & pieced together. Normally, the camper faces left, but I needed it to face right, so after die cutting the body of it, I placed just the piece of paper (minus the die) on top the magnetic mat & placed the embossing mat on top & ran it thru the machine. This helped remove the normal indentations from the die. All of the other pieces were ok as is, I just moved them to the opposite side. The van & the camper are both popped up on foam. The paper pad is 6×6, but I discovered one side could be matched up to the other so I carefully did this & I can barely see it in person.

You can see the dimension here.

A big congrats to Sarah, the newest Featured Stamper (FS824) on Splitcoast. She has fun gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept the bird & Christmas theme, but I used different images, dies & paper, moved the greeting & made mine a mini slimline.

My little owl, all tangled up in the Christmas lights, was colored & die cut. I used foam to pop him up a bit. I cut my papers on an angle, but not as steep an angle as Sarah did.  My greeting was too big to fit under the angled edge, so I moved it to the bottom & added some sequins.
