Today’s Color Challenge (CC541) on Splitcoast is a rosy red, minty green & taupe. I don’t have the exact colors so I used what I had on hand.
I started by die cutting the kraft layer (sub for taupe), stamped the greeting, highlighted it w/ a white gel pen, then sponged white chalk ink around the edges. The window & shutters were die cut then I attached a piece of acetate behind the window frame & embossed them before adding a small piece of designer paper behind them. The pinecones & bells were colored w/ Copics & fussy cut & I added a white die cut curved piece at the bottom to represent snow. Stardust stickles was added to the snow & red stickles on the berries & ribbon.
Here’s a look at the inside using leftovers & also the Copics I used.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Today’s Clean & Simple Challenge (CAS335) is all about the beach! I thought these shells, waves & mermaid would fit right in. The hardest part about this card was finding an ink that would stick to this shimmery lt. teal card stock.
I wanted to stamp the shells & highlight the seahorse & waves with a blue ink & I only have Stazon in white & black. I tried Distress ink, Memento, Chalk ink..nothing would stick. Until I got out my Ancient Page. Success! So after stamping & coloring the mermaid, I fussy cut her & the stamped shells. The waves & seahorse were die cut & highlighted w/ ink. The circle burst was also die cut & I used the white Stazon to stamp the wave pattern inside.
After it was all attached to the card, I stamped the greeting & added stickles for sparkle. These are the Copics I used on the mermaid.

How fun! The IC Challenge (IC503) is a Pinterest board full of Beachy images & houses. I was really inspired by THIS picture w/ all its bright colors and tall houses.
For my bright house card, I had a water color background I made a week or so ago when I was experimenting with Brushos. So I used a strip of it and die cut my buildings out of matching colors then mixed them up. I used one edge of a pierced rectangle die to make the top sections and a curved border die to make the blue bottom section. After stamping the greeting, I addd a Candi dot & done!
Here’s a look at the inside using some leftover pieces.
