Today’s Color Challenge (CC541) on Splitcoast is a rosy red, minty green & taupe. I don’t have the exact colors so I used what I had on hand.
I started by die cutting the kraft layer (sub for taupe), stamped the greeting, highlighted it w/ a white gel pen, then sponged white chalk ink around the edges. The window & shutters were die cut then I attached a piece of acetate behind the window frame & embossed them before adding a small piece of designer paper behind them. Â The pinecones & bells were colored w/ Copics & fussy cut & I added a white die cut curved piece at the bottom to represent snow. Stardust stickles was added to the snow & red stickles on the berries & ribbon.
Here’s a look at the inside using leftovers & also the Copics I used.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Who wouldn’t love to receive this beauty at Christmas. A lot of work, but worth the effort. Elegant.
This is stunning Julie! Love that window die cut and the white distressing and atop the sentiment – giving the look of snow. The images are gorgeously colored too.
