Welcome to the North Coast Creations November Release! We have a couple of really cute Christmas/Winter images for you!
I was very excited when I saw this nutcracker…I really love them and have a number of them I put out every Christmas. This guy just looked like a member of the Royal Guard so I used mostly red, white & blue on him.
After stamping and coloring, I die cut the nutcracker and matted it with red. The striped paper is a new collection coming soon from Our Daily Bread designs. I die cut the right edge along with a white layer using a bracket border die.The front of the white card was embossed using the largest die of the ODBD Flourished Star Pattern set. I die cut and added all the little stars from the ODBD Sparkling Stars set. I used one of the triangles from the ODBD Pennant dies to make the fishtail on the greeting banner. The blue background was embossed and I used a white chalk maker to highlight the raised embossing. The finished card is 4.25 x 5.50 and these are the Copics I used.
The second image for this release is the sweet little Snow Angel Murphy! I stamped Murphy twice, colored and die cut the circle ornament shape on one and colored and fussy cut Murphy on the other. I added a Santa hat from the Santa Claws set and the greeting from the Santa Paws set.
I added a little sparkling snow glitter writer dimensional paint to the snow and fur on the Santa hat for some dimension and sparkle.
The paper and snowflakes are from Our Daily Bread designs. The finished card is 5.50 x 4.25 and these are the Copics I used.

Welcome to the November Challenge for Serendipity Stamps! This month the challenge is appropriately…Things you are Thankful or Grateful pt 2! You can get all the details over on the Serendipity Challenge Blog. The DT has the added challenge of using a non-craft related item.. And as always, we have a have a gift certificate up for grabs to a random player. The sale this week is Free Shipping on any US Order of $15 or more … good through Nov 26th.
For my Thanksgiving card, I stamped the beautiful Horn of Plenty, colored it with Copics, then die cut it. A gold, leaf border die cut square was added underneath before attaching to a large chocolate colored layer.
I used a Cheery Lynn Chrysanthemum die to make the white flower and a CL sunflower die on the yellow flower. I also used a CL fanciful flourish die. Embedded in my corner fall corsage arrangement, I have my non-craft item…the netting. It’s actually from a bag of lemons and I used an orange Copic to make the yellow a bit deeper. A little raffia tied in a loose bow adds the finishing touch. The tag was die cut and stamped with the Small Happy Thanksgiving and I used a Copic to color the border of it.
On the inside, I used a leftover narrow frame that I also colored w/ Copics, some leftover chrysanthemum petals and a band of the chocolate on which I stamped the small Maple Leaf.
As an extra non-craft item, I used my envelope punch board to make a sturdy envelope out of an old calendar page. The finished card is 4.25 x 5.50 and these are the Copics I used.

A big Congrats to Audrie, the newest Featured Stamper (FS406) on Splitcoast! I’m always inspired by her creations and I chose THIS to case. I loved the layout with the cords going vertically & horizontally behind the main panel so I kept those. I used different images, different colors and added a die cut greeting instead of stamping it.
The Christmas dove was stamped, colored with Copics and I fussy cut around the black border then attached it to a piece of textured white c/s. I added the narrow silver ribbons to the die cut aqua textured c/s before attaching the dove on top. I stamped, colored & fussy cut an extra holly branch to pop up on top.
The Peace die was cut once our of silver glitter c/s and twice out of heavy white then glued together for more dimension.
The finished card is 4.25 x 5.50 and these are the Copics I used.
Congrats again, Audrie! Thanks so much for stopping by!
