Congrats to Angie, the newest Featured Stamper (FS751) on Splitcoast! She has a beautiful gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept the colored bg w/ the lattice die cut on top & the flower in the corner, but I used different images & dies, different colors & a stamped flower instead of a die cut flower.

For my card, I used a brayer & a rainbow pad to create my bg & I used a slimline lattice die for the cover. Instead of cutting it lengthwise, I turned it sideways & cut 2 short pieces to put side by side, horizontally. I knew the greeting strip would cover the join, so I didn’t even worry about that. The sides were trimmed down a bit to fit & I added a lime green layer behind it. The peony was half die cut/half fussy cut, using my out of the box method.

Here are the Copics I used on the peony:

For the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge (IC812) we’re going to a Surfboard Art Pinterest Board where I found THIS beautiful surfboard. I really liked the colors & rays coming down from the center.

For my card, I went w/ a slimline since it had a long layout, like the surfboard. I die cut the white & placed the sunburst stencil over the lower half of it & sponged the lt green & teal inks thru it. For the darker edges, I used a very small make up brush to go along the edges. I die cut a couple of angled borders, sponged one w/ the same inks & added them over the top where the stenciling ended. The beautiful daisies were half die cut, half fussy cut & attached to a white oval w/ a scalloped teal oval behind it. The greeting was simple white embossed onto black.

It’s my pleasure to host the Featured Stamper Challenge this week. So a big congrats to Sandi, the newest Featured Stamper (FS750)! Sandi has the most amazing gallery & it was hard to chose just one, but I finally went w/ THIS card for my case. I kept the white banded bg die & floral theme, but I used different images & dies, different colors & made mine a slimline card.

For my birthday card, I die cut the white diagonal bg die & cut a long piece of butter yellow card to go behind it. On this yellow piece, I sponged some red & orange inks then used a stencil to add a bit more visual texture. The poppies were colored w/ Copics & half die cut/half fussy cut & popped up a little on top of the white bg. The greeting was white embossed on black.

Here are the Copics I used on the poppies:
