A big congrats to Laura, the newest Featured Stamper (FS749) on Splitcoast! She has a terrific gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept the fish theme & bg colors, but changed most everything else. I used different images, dies & a different layout.
For my underwater scene, I used blue-green alcohol ink bg..it has some silvery streaks but they’re hard to see here. It was cut in a lg circle & I added a stitched circle frame on top. The lg fish, octopus & sea grasses were colored w/ Copics & die cut. The octopus was cut in half so I could place part over the frame & the rest under it. The tiny fish were die cut out of dk blue & left overs of the same bg. I wanted them to blend into the watery scene.Â
