For the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge (IC811), we’re headed to Bella Ella &/or their Pinterest Board where I found THIS dress.
For my mostly monochromatic card, I used a layered floral set of stamps w/ a couple of gray inks, but I didn’t use the first layer, which puts an all over layer of color down. I wanted that to just be the white of the paper. I used 1 lt gray & & med gray for the other 2 layers & the final outline was stamped w/ black. The centers were stamped w/ a hot pink & I also added some hot pink stickles on top.Â
On the lt gray textured strip, I used the leaf part of a 2 part stencil. The first group of leaves were stenciled w/ gray & the second group were stenciled w/ the picket fence white ink. I used a herringbone embossing folder on the darker gray & added a narrow strip of hot pin to the edge. A few clear sequins in different sizes finish it off.
Thanks so much for stopping by!Â
