To make my summer lighthouse card, I used a small piece of a Brushos watercolor background I had in my stash. After die cutting the white rectangle, I also die cut a large oval & placed the watercolor bg behind it. The Lighthouse was die cut once out of white & once out of royal blue & pieced together. The little windows were colored w/ a couple of yellow Copics. The Summer & lower part of the hello tag were also die cut twice each & stacked. I used the clouds from the Hot Air Balloon Reverse die & also a larger cloud on top of the Hello. I had the die cut frame leftover from something else, so I sponged on similar colors & added it behind the white layer.
Here’s a look at the inside. I left it blank for now, until I decide who it’s going to.
Next stop is Vickie‘s Blog! Please be sure to comment on all the DT Blogs..it will be so appreciated & also increase your chances of winning!

Absolutely elegant and so well thought-out! Having that watercolor background “in your stash” is a lesson to us all to create for the stash as well as for cards.
