It’s my pleasure to host the Splitcoast Featured Stamper Challenge (FS711) this week & a big congrats to Patti! She has a lovely gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept the fall them & multi colors, but I used different images & instead of emboss resist, I black embossed onto a shaving cream bg.

For my card, I used a shaving cream bg I made a while back & I thought the colors would be perfect for a fall card. I die cut it then put it into my Misti & stamped this wonderful, new veined leaves bg in black & black embossed it on top. I love the bit of shine & deep black the embossing gives to the image. It’s backed w/ a black, inside scallop die cut panel & I used a smaller white one to stamp the greeting on. I wanted it to stand out a bit more, so I used a couple of rectangle dies to cut a narrow black frame to put around the greeting.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Today’s Inspiration Challenge (IC746) has a lot to inspire! I used THIS picture  as inspiration for my card. They were using an alcohol ink bg & alcohol lift ink so I made a reddish  AI bg & used the lift ink to stamp the stripes, then die cut the flowers.

The circle/squares die was used for the bg & I put a piece of blue/green shaving cream bg behind it as contrast to the red flowers. Then I couldn’t decide how to arrange the flowers. I bet that never happens to you!  The angled corner piece was hanging out so I told it to suit up, stamped the greeting on it & tucked the flowers inside. For a touch of sparkle, I added a few clear sequins.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Keep safe!

For the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge (IC711) we’re heading over to the Audubon Society. One of my fave places. I get their newsletters in my email & their address labels…I just love everything to do w/ birds. My inspiration was THIS illustration of the painted bunting. I love all the colors!

My card is really CAS..I die cut the leaf brand & little birds out of a multicolor shaving cream bg I made quite a while ago. I die cut the same branch out of some black c/s & also into the front of a white panel. The black branch was inserted into the negative die cut space & the multicolor version was attached offset, on top. I did a similar stack w/ the Hugs die cut & the tiny birds.

Here’s the inside.
