For the Birds

It’s Dare to Get Dirty week on Splitcoast, so I’m combining Lydia’s challenge w/ the Featured Stamper Challenge. A big congrats to Pam, the newest Featured Stamper (FS652)! I chose THIS card to case. It started out to be more similar, but it went a little sideways when I decided to combine it w/ the DTGD challenge & chose THIS card of Cheryl’s as inspiration, mostly for the layers & colors. For all the details on the DTGD Challenges, go to the Dare to Get Dirty Forum.

My card is fairly simple..after coloring & die cutting the bird, I also die cut a pair of frames out of some coordinating colors of dp. I also die cut the big leaf branch & wove it over & under the frames. I also adde a few flowers to brighten it up. The fun birthday greeting was added below. I thought it went w/ this funny bird’s facial expression.

Here are the Copics I used.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
