It’s my turn to host the FS Challenge so a big congrats to Virginia, the newest Featured Stamper (FS481) on Splitcoast! Wow! She has one awesome gallery & there are many I wanted to case, but I really liked THIS one in particular. I loved the gold embossing on vellum and the flowers so I kept those, but I used different images, added a die cut for half of the greeting & a gold striped washi tape border.
For my card, I gold embossed the flowers & half of the greeting on a piece of vellum I die cut using a pierced rectangle die. I colored it first on the backside w/ Copics, but I couldn’t quite get it dark enough, so I carefully added more color to front side, trying to stay away from the gold embossing. I attached to a same size piece of white card stock & added the Wishing word die cut out of gold mirror board.
On the larger white layer, after die cutting it, I attached strips of gold foil stripe washi tape. When I got the corners, I used scissors to mitre the corners. A few gold embossed, colored & fussy cut  blossoms were added here & there.
Here’s a look at the inside & below it are the Copics I used.
Congrats again, Virginia! Thanks so much for stopping by!

What a gorgeous card, Julie! I love the flower in Fragrance and love how you’ve embossed on vellum and colored them. And adding the gold is fabulous! Wow! I love the washi tape too (need to find some of that…very pretty). Beautiful card for a graduate! Hugs, sweet friend!
