Watercolor Wishes

Merry Christmas Eve! For the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge (IC838), we’re visiting BlueBellGray & their Pinterest Board where I found THIS lovely pillow. I liked the watercolor look of it on the ends w/ the flowers toward the center. Mine turned out a little more purple than magenta, but I like it.

For my slimline card, I used Brushos but mixed the powder in a palette w/ water then floated in the purple/violets & pinkish reds in from each end of the 140# w/c paper. While it was drying, I stamped the flower on another piece of w/c paper  w/ fade out ink. I haven’t used it much & in my opinion, it really didn’t fade out in this instance..it just looks gray to me. I used the same color of mixed Brushos to paint the flowers, then die cut them & fussy cut the leaves. Some of the flowers were popped up & I used the Misti to split the stamped part of the greeting a bit in order to add the Wishes die cut below. A few gems finished it.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
