Happy 4th of July! It’s my turn & my pleasure to host the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge this week & we’re heading to Hometalk. Talk about a rabbit hole..I could get lost in there for days, checking out all the fab DIY projects. For my card, I was inspired by THIS. The simple, nautical wreath turned into a little beach & sailboat scene inside a wreath.Â
After die cutting a white & a navy circle frame, I cut pieces of the navy one, edged them w/ a gold Krylon pen & attached them to the white frame. On the circle inside the frame, I added waves, a sailboat, some palm trees & a beach umbrella. For the sand, I cut the Kraft c/s, stamped it w/ a splatter image & white ink, then inked the top edges w/ the white ink.Â
Thanks so much for stopping by!
