Happy 4th of July!
Today’s Mix challenge (MIX75) on Splitcoast is to have a repeating item, or a parade of items. Gotcha covered! A row of pennants, a background of stars and a heart full of stars & stripes. And since it’s a MIX challenge, I have distress inks, embossing, embossing resist and some sequins thrown in.Â
For my patriotic card, I white embossed both of the stars & stripes hearts, and used distress inks to sponge  over the embossing, then die cut them. The red star was a leftover I cut on my Cricut. The patriotic pennants were die cut and w/ the die still in place, I stamped the stars & stripes pennants. The stamps are clear, so it’s easy to see where to stamp. The large pennant in the corner was also die cut. I used the A2 matting basics dies to cut the frame. The star bg inside the frame was made using the stormy sky ink & embossing folder stamping.Â
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great 4th of July weekend!

What a beautiful 4th of July card.
What a wonderful 4th of July card. I hope you had an enjoyable day. I’m Canadian and we celebrated our birthday on July 1st. We could see the fireworks from my balcony so we had a party with 15 of our friends.
