Happy Easter! And a big congrats to Sue, the newest Featured Stamper (FS532) on Splitcoast! After much browsing, I chose THIS card to case. I kept the diamond shape for the main image & cute critter, but I used different images, different colors & made mine an Easter card.
The bunny in the flower pot was stamped, colored w/ Copics & the Easter greeting stamped below. I found a lt blue & yellow that went well it & die cut those.
Here’s a look at the inside & below it are the Copics I used.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful Easter!
Supplies:
Stamps: DRS Designs –Sneaky Bunny Flower Pot, 1 Line Happy Easter (inside: Happy Easter Everybunny, Cute Bunny w/ Egg) |
Paper: Staples 110# white, lt blue, yellow |
Ink: Memento tuxedo black (inside also used daffodil) |
Accessories: Copic markers, Misti, ODBD lavish layers, double stitched squares dies |
Such lovely floral arrangements on today’s Inspiration Challenge (IC593) on Splitcoast! My card was inspired by THIS lovely picture w/ it’s yellows & peachy oranges. I also liked the black bg because it gave me a chance to do the Prismacolor on black c/s again from the TLC632 challenge. Maybe I should call this one “Ducks at Night”.
I like this technique, but it is challenging because you kind of have to think in reverse when coloring. I used my Misti to stamp the ducks with Brilliance moonlight white ink. Usually you use pigment ink but Brilliance dries so much faster & w/ the Misti, I can stamp it repeatedly to really make it bright. I used Prismas to color it then stamped over it again w/ the white ink. Added the greeting below & a few stitched flowers around the circle.
Here’s a look at the inside using leftover frames & flowers.
Thanks so much for looking! Have a Happy Easter!
