Mother’s Day Flowers



A big congrats to Anita, the newest Featured Stamper (FS530)on Splitcoast! She has such a pretty little gallery & THIS is the card I picked to case. I kept the die cut background & flower theme, but I used different images, different dies, moved the greeting to a center circle  & turned the layout horizontal.

I really liked the leafy looking die cut bg, but I don’t have a die like that so I took a set of dies & die cut them a bunch of times across the bg. Then I put the outlines back into the slots that were cut. I found a piece of really pale peach paper & attached the bg on top of it. I already had the narrow little stitched frames so I sponged one w/ the tattered rose & attached the other on top. The dogwoods were stamped, colored & fussy cut. The greeting was stamped on one circle & the outer circle was sponged like the inner frame.
